Swedish Medical Center Supervisor - Call Center in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Shared Services is looking for aSupervisor (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Call Center at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the high-volume Call Centers on First Hill and Ballard staff to ensure the highest level of service to internal and external customers. Responsible for overseeing and developing the Call Center staff, including Telecom Attendants and Dispatchers.

In this position you will:

  • Supervise workers, coaches for improvement, review performance and assesses competency to ensure compliance with customer service standards.

  • Interview applicants, orient and schedule new hire training.

  • Conduct continuing education sessions inclusive of written competency assessments.

  • Assist in writing and delivering performance evaluations.

  • Participate in department’s annual budgeting processes and be responsible for managing budgeted resources.

  • Be responsible for staff scheduling in a 24/7 operational department.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of leadership experience

  • 3 years of experience in a high-volume call center

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • College Coursework

  • Knowledge of plant distribution, multi-campus/buildings and multi-line systems

  • Prior healthcare experience

  • Prior union experience is helpful
